Positive Thinking Day was introduced in 2013 by an American entrepreneur encouraging people to deal with difficult situations with positivity and optimism. Positive thinking leads to levels of higher satisfaction and quality of life versus negative thoughts that do more harm than good.
Optimism and positive thinking have been shown to have many benefits such as reducing stress and lowering the risk of heart disease and depression.
