Sam Calderbank – Senior HR Advisor

What is your background?
I have worked as an HR Generalist for over 10 years, working across private and public sectors in retail, finance and the NHS.
Tell us a bit about you?
I live in Buckinghamshire with my husband and three adult children. In my early years, before I had a family, I trained as a chef specialising in French cuisine. Although I have not been a professional chef for many years I still have a love for food and fine wine.
What attracted you to hr inspire?
I liked the idea of working for a start-up company and being able to experience first-hand the growth and development of the business and the opportunities that it would present me. I haven’t been disappointed in this respect as I have been given many opportunities that have stretched me and added to my own professional development as the business has grown.
What do you enjoy most about working here?
I love the diversity – you never know from one day to the next what you will be doing and I love the satisfaction of knowing I’ve helped our customers and resolved their issues.
What is your favourite aspect to your role?
Dealing with the customers and building lasting working relationships.
What is your greatest achievement at hr inspire?
Achieving ISO9001 status and helping our customers implement the Work Place Pension.
