Kicking off 2020 – “Grow Your Business” Event
2020 kicked off to a great start with our Grow your Business event. Held at the scenic Box Moor Trust Centre in Hemel Hempstead, a stunning venue with timeless oak wooden interior and beautiful outdoor scenery, we welcomed guests to enjoy a morning learning in a unique working environment.

nership with Haines Watts and Wagada, together we covered the core pillars needed to drive business success; HR, Business Processes, Marketing & Finance.
Our very own Relationship director Suzanne Hurndall covered key areas such as Company Culture, Leadership and Management skills and Processes and Protection.
Covering the current cultural factors which businesses should be considering, Suzanne highlighted the importance of leading from the top down, supported with policies and processes that encourage an accountable environment, the use of effective appraisals and reviews and the best use of communication.
Another important element Suzanne discussed was how employers differentiate leadership styles to balance being an enabler and a motivator, ranging from the coaching and development of employees, respect in the workplace and setting benchmarks in behavioural expectations.
Great advice from Wagada included tailoring your marketing and content efforts to each stage of your customers’ decision making journey. Provide the right blend of info, evidence and incentive, and do consider the AIDA model.
Haines Watts covered key business and financial considerations we loved Pippa’s suggestion of setting your “Big Hairy Audacious Goal”! It’s so important to consider what can you be the best at; the best businesses are mission lead and purpose driven.
